A drum circle is a celebration of life, community, and spontaneous music-making. Participants sit in a circle while playing drums and hand percussion to create a group rhythm. The circle is "moderated" by a facilitator who guides the group in rhythms and rhythm-based activities.  Ideal family activity for men, women and children.

People of all levels of musical expertise unite and share their rhythmical spirit with whatever drums and percussion they bring to the event or which are provided. Everyone who comes and participates has something to offer the circle, and anyone is welcome.  The benefits of a drumming are more numerous than imagined. Long periods of playing show that endorphins and enkephalins are released in the brain. Both are neurotransmitters that perform like natural pain killers while enhancing moods. Drum circles have been known to:

  • Boost the immune system
  • Promote physical healing
  • Be calming - offering relief from stress & assists in lowering blood pressure

Drum Circles are used in hospitals, homes and clinics hailed as valuable treatment for:

  • Alzheimer's
  • Mental illness
  • Stroke
  • Autism
  • Cancer
  • Paralysis
  • Addiction recovery
  • MS
  • Arthritis
  • Parkinsons
  • Trauma patients
